Tiny Shredder is a very light, free tool that works to delete the content of files and folders specified by the user. But why use Tiny Shredder? Well, because when you delete files normally, without a program like this one, you only delete the folder entry, but you leave traces of the file on your hard drive. What Tiny Shredder does is locate these traces and over-write them. This way it deletes them for good.
The files deleted by Tiny Shredder cannot be recovered by any type of file recovery program, however sophisticated they are. Tiny Shredder deletes files and folders chosen by the user, and also deletes free space, files in the waste bin, temporary files, cookies, logs, recent documents lists, etc.
